Menu Planner

Planning your meal ahead of time allows you to avoid fast foods such as Mcdonalds, KFC and other take-outs. To avoid eating unhealthily, you should plan your meals about 1 week in advance. Make sure that you buy all the groceries you need for that weeks worth of meal.

To ensure optimal nutrition, we should eat on average the following foods each day.

  • 1-2 serves protein (animal or vegetable)
  • 5 serves vegetables
  • 4-5 fruits
  • 2-3 serves cereal
  • 1-2 serves fats
  • 2-3 serves dairy
  • 6-8 glasses of water

To help you with your menu planning, we have designed this menu planner. The weekly menu planner can be used to plan your meals in advance. It is also a great tool to use to keep track of what you eat. As you plan your family meals for the week, tick of the serves.
