Peanut Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 onion, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon chilli sauce
  • 1 teaspoon crunchy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup non-fat yoghurt
  • serve with Indonesian Gado Gado (see previous recipe)
  • serves 4

Directions:

  1. Dry fry onion and garlic until onion is soft (add a little water to prevent sticking).
  2. Add chilli sauce and peanut butter and ½ cup water, simmer gently for 2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and add yoghurt and allow to cool before serving.
