Creamy Mushroom Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 leeks
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cup sliced button
  • mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup dried mushrooms soaked in boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 can Carnation Evaporated skim milk
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • serves 2

Directions

  1. Wash leeks well and cut in thin slices.
  2. Saute leeks and garlic until soft, add flour and mix in well.
  3. Add skim evaporated milk and stir until beginning to thicken.
  4. Add mushrooms and black pepper and simmer.
