Grilled Capsicum Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 medium red capsicum
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 cup canned tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh oregano
- 1 tablespoon capers
- serves 4
Directions
- Grill capsicum until charred on all sides. Place in freezer bag, tie and sweat for 10 minutes. Cool. Peel capsicum under running water and chop.
- Dry fry garlic, add tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add capsicum, oregano and capers. Use also as a base for pizza.
