Swiss Steak
Ingredients:
- 500gm lean blade steak
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
- 1/2 teaspoon mixed spice
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 tablespoons Italian tomato sauce (eg: Provisto Sugo)
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Sherry (optional)
- 1/2 cup water
- serves 4
Directions:
- Cube steak and place all ingredients in a casserole dish.
- Mix well and marinate overnight.
- Cover and cook at 160C for 2 1/2 hours.
