Honeyed Lemon Fish

Ingredients:

  • 4 fish fillets (aprox. 125gm each)
  • 3 sticks celery
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 medium onion, sliced in rings
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Sauce:
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons cornflour
  • 1 cup water
  • lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • serves 4

Directions:

  1. Cut celery into diagonal slices, cut pepper into thin diagonal slices.
  2. Saute all vegetables for 1 minute, water and simmer for 2 minutes.
  3. Put fish in pan with vegetables, add enough water just to cover, simmer covered for 5 minutes.
  4. Drain and place on serving plate, spoon vegetables over fish, pour sauce over.
