French Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon gelatine
  • 2 teaspoons cold water
  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • herbs to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 small finely chopped onion

Directions:

  1. Soften gelatine in cold water, add boiling water and stir to combine gelatine. Allow to cool and pour into a screw top jar.
  2. Add lemon juice, pepper, mustard, garlic, onion and herbs of choice. Shake well.

Keep in refrigerator, remove 1 hour before serving and shake well before using.
