Bircher Muesli

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • grated rind of one lemon
  • 1 small banana, mashed
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, mashed
  • 1 pear, peeled and finely chopped
  • 3/4 cup skim milk yoghurt
  • 12 sultana grapes cut in half
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • serves 4

Directions

  1. Pour skim milk over oats and refrigerate overnight.
  2. The next morning, add lemon rind, mashed banana, grated apple, pear, yoghurt and mix well.
  3. Stir in sultana grapes and chill well before serving. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
